Free Neville Goddard – The Method – The Mistakes Part 3

Let’s take care of that with  FINAL PART of The Methods and The Mistakes!

Yesterday, in Part 2, we explored how and when to create the DETAILS – so that you don’t get bogged down THINKING about your outcome – and actually start FEELING and manifesting it.

And today in PART 3, we are going to explore the State Akin To Sleep. 

This is the most powerful state we can be in, when we are Feeling It Real. It’s “the state you are naturally in while waking up in the morning and falling asleep at night.   It is also the best condition to manifest from and to quiet the mind.

Let’s dive in with this Neville Goddard quote:

THE THIRD STEP is to immobilize the physical body and induce a state akin to sleep.  Then mentally feel yourself right into the proposed action, imagine all the while that you are actually performing the action HERE AND NOW.  You must participate in the imaginary action, not merely stand back and look on, but FEEL that you are actually performing the action, so that the imaginary sensation is real to you.” – Neville Goddard

Did you notice the exact steps Neville has us take today?

  1. Immobilize the physical body and induce a state akin to sleep.  (Take a few moments out of your day, and invest in you.
  2. Then mentally feel yourself right into the proposed action, imagine all the while that you are actually performing the action HERE AND NOW.
  3. Participate in the imaginary action, don’t merely stand back and look on, but FEEL that you are actually performing the action, so that the imaginary sensation is real to you.
  4. And allow yourself to be totally drawn into it. So that you draw it into your life – like magic – like the magic that you are.

Notice how Neville says, “You must participate in the imaginary action, not merely stand back and look on…”TOD

Because when you stand back and look on, (what most people do until they learn this0 that puts you in the participant state.  It’s like being outside the fence in the playground of life.

You get to watch -but you don’t get to play.

To manifest effectively and at full speed, you need to FEEL as if you are DOING the action, that IMPLIES your wish fulfilled, NOT watching it, like we teach in The Feel It Real Pack.

    TT and V – Great is right! Just last night I went through powerful, significant success with this. Listening to your fantastic gift – the recording State akin to Sleep – I was able to unwind my mind and heart from a "difficult" experience. I used the revision method of seeing the entire conversation as a movie, third person, black and white – and then re-enact it through my eyes, in color, making it feel even more Real to me…. and was able to enter sleep contented and at peace with my life as I wish to create it.
    What will "happen" today as the "result" unfolds…is so so so much less important (the evidence) than the path I was able to walk last night and help myself choose peace inside of me. That is the "evidence" I was able to go to sleep with, and now wake to. THIS is the best stuff! Thank you for your clear and generous teachings.

    Well… I hope everyone reading this gets goose bumps! After I commented on this….below – I then went on to check emails…and voice mails. The person I was referring to – against ALL SEEMING ODDS – against his temperament, against his track record with people, against ALL I KNEW OF HIM in this world… just left a Voice Mail with the EXACT outcome I envisioned in my revisioning. I am not kidding. I was thrilled that I as able to let go, find my powerful solution to see him in his own, calm, ideal…. as my journey and my outcome. Admittedly, with evidence now showing up here as tangible…it does give me the shimmy shimmy shakes! Nevillizing! Yahoo TT and V!
    Also, aside from sort of getting what I wanted….. it helps HIM to be his ideal too. I mean not the business deal between us… but his heart was hurting, he was off alignment when he was so angry, and unjustly targeting me.
    It helps us all to find the space and the quiet to allow us to always hold the others at their best, as we can imagine it =- and this is a great example.

    Bit of confusion, I should have been clearer. I meant how do we know when we have reached the ‘state akin to sleep’?

    I get the feeling that it’s more than just, for example, the feeling if you were to close your eyes whilst lounging around watching tv or something.

    Is it more like the feeling just before you fall asleep at night? Do you have any cues you look for to recognise when you are ‘ready’ to begin imagining? Thanks TT

    I tend to feel “expanded” and “relatively quiet”.

    Neville was pure genius to call it “akin to sleep” because that truly is what it is. Have you seen the video we have on the site to help with it?

    Well, that is my story there posted two years ago. And I remember exactly the amazing feeling – first, of the release right after the episode with the person. The freedom of the mind chatter, allowing myself control of the direction – and perhaps? – the outcome of it.
    Second – the feeling of that exact response, apology and desire to clear the air. Of other things causing him to be/react/say those things in that way etc… the evidencing of it.
    Still one my most powerful – and most early – explorations with the use of the tools.

    Now, this is my habit. Now, this is my life. Now, this is acknowledged as my creative power. Cause.

    Oh Twenty, they are every day now. Really – literally – with the tools you have helped me fine tune from Neville…
    Revisioning
    Imagining my State and the life it produces….

    these are everyday things, parts of me now that are forever in my day to day living.

    Working with my partners in my new, very huge venture…. has had trying times for me pace, and my level of excellence.
    So: I have countless times gotten off a skype call, calmly outwardly and frustrated inwardly – to take a break, a walk. End the energy exchange before any disappointing words.
    THEN REVISE.
    WOW is all I can say, over and over.
    In fact, with the honest investigation it takes to be really…alive…. I can say that the only delay in changes are indeed my ego or habits of feeling victim. It may NOW only take…. 10 minutes to turn a conversation and its energy around – and within that 10 minutes the gatekeeper is not wanting to let go of the fight itself. The rightness of my own position….
    small and petty
    Then – finally, a breath that gives me back me, and reminds me I am writing this script, and then I do just that.
    When I return to the call a bit later, over and over the exact energies or words and/or sentiments are exchanged in the revised edition of my life.

    Every day is a success story, Twenty. Even when I am unsure and it requires a few days…to understand and let go…and then re-grip what I want. It now is my life.
