Hey mate,
Are you the commander of your mind – or the victim of it?
Or as Neville asks below, “Are you the foolish virgin or the wise one?”
Let’s dive into the words of Neville Goddard right now – and run with this for the weekend.
{We promise you if you do, your life will never be the same – in a very good way.)
“The minute you begin to discipline your mind by observing your thoughts and watching your thoughts throughout the day, you become the policeman of your thoughts. Refuse to enter into conversations that are unlovely, refuse to listen attentively to anything that tears down.” – Neville Goddard
You cant hope to control your mind, or to manifest greatness, while listening to or participating in conversations that are unlovely.
Instead, do what we do, HEAR in imagination what you choose to hear instead. Imagine them celebrating a success, instead of moaning about problems.
If you want to, while doing that – actually invite them to a more lovely conversation – and if that doesn’t work – walk away. (That’s not rude – that’s helping the other person too, TO STOP bad habits that ruin lives – including their own.
“Begin to build within your own mind’s eye the vision of the perfect virgin rather than the vision of the foolish virgin. Listen only to the things that bring joy when you hear them.”
“Do not give a willing ear to that which is unlovely, which when you heard it you wish you had not. That is listening and seeing things Without oil in your lamp, or joy in your mind.” Neville Goddard
The virgin takes a seed within her, then becomes a mother. Take in seeds that are only lovely, take in seeds that produce good fruits and goodness. That way, you will give birth to your beautiful desires.
“There are two kinds of virgins in the Bible: five foolish and five wise virgins. The minute you become the wise virgin, or try to make an attempt to do it, you will find all these things (miracles) happen.”
“You will see these things, and they interest you so that you have not time to develop the foolish sight, as many people do. I hope that no one here does. Because no one should be identified with this great work who can still find great joy in a discussion of another that is unlovely.” – Neville Goddard
Which kind of virgin are you today?
Are you the foolish one, being unlovely, listening to the unlovely?
Or are you the wise one, using the tools, seeing beauty, finding more and more to be thankful for. This is why we shared the Gratitude Game in Neville Goddard Simplified #1 – And this is why it works.
Focus from the great, focus from the beautiful, focus from the joy in the accomplishments of others – and you too will find more to be thankful for, and accomplish and experience the world of your dreams.
Have an amazing weekend! And remember to be the wise virgin!
