“Here in this audience tonight there is a gentleman. He started a business in Chicago in March of this year. If you knew the market in the month of March as you know it today, it was at the lowest point in years.”

“Stocks tumbled and tumbled day after day, many dropping ten or fifteen points a day; and on paper billions and billions were lost. As far as the mind goes, they were lost. There was no market to raise money for business. “

He needed two hundred and fifty thousand dollars to launch this business. It is a manufacturing business, manufacturing special instruments―technical. No one had any money,–no individual, no group.” – Neville Goddard

Did you NOTICE –  there are TWO IMAGININGS already going on here?

That the man Neville manifested the money for – had ALREADY been walking in faith – he had already imagined and started THE BUSINESS in March.  (And in May, he he needed help imagining THE MONEY for it.)

(Notice how similar this was to the story of Victor Goddard, Neville’s brother?  Victor imagined up the business – but it took him TWO YEARS to get the money to buy the building for it.   Neville, just helped his friend SPEED THINGS UP quite a bit, with what you are learning here.)

 Let’s see what happened next…

“He went through the month of March, April; and then in May he called me from Chicago to tell me he was too close to picture. He couldn’t use his imagination because he was too close to it, and all the negative arguments the papers gave you, the brokers gave you, friends would give you,–everything printed that the financial situation gave you looked forward to a greater and greater depression.”
“He couldn’t stop it. So, I heard what he had to say: he wanted two hundred and fifty thousand dollars. I said, ‘All right, I will hear it for you. I will now reverse the entire conversation from you wanting two hundred and fifty thousand dollars to a conversation that tells me that you have your two hundred and fifty thousand dollars, and I will persuade myself of this so-called invisible, and therefore unreal state.”

“When I am self-persuaded of the reality of what the world would say to be unreal, it’s done, and it will not fail! I will do it now.’” – Neville Goddard

Notice that the man Neville helped HAS BELIEF in the power of the imagination – so he called Neville. He didn’t say “prove it to me” He called his friend and teacher Neville, because he knew it would all come together – if SOMEONE could fully imagine it. Faith is the key, feeling is the secret.

“So, he hung up. I did not leave the ‘phone until I was self-persuaded that he had called me and told me of the good news that he had his two hundred and fifty thousand dollars, to launch this new venture in these special things that he is making.” – Neville Goddard

    Sorry, you are mistaken. Listen to as many lectures as we have, and you’ll find he charged, often more than others in the same field. Do your homework before you decide to judge.

    We all have the opportunity in the moment to either judge or to create. I request you take the time to create, and to be thankful for what we have created here. We offer over 500 free articles, over 200 free pdf files, free as well as paid audios and we take the time to answer every email we get to help the readers.

  17. Joan, Mr Twenty gives so much away for free that you don't have to buy anything. The concept he teaches is easy. Neville earned a lot of money, he was a multimillionaire so I don't know where you received your info from but maybe you should study a little more before accusing and judging Mr Twenty. He is a teacher and this is how he makes his living. Is that what you say to your doctor or when you go to Walmart that their services should be free? If that is your thinking then you do not know anything about Neville or the other many great leaders out there. Neville always taught that you can earn as much money as you want even without a degree or having the specific education. So if he teaches that and you asked what would Neville say, he would say JOB WELL DONE MR TWENTY!

  18. I think you are doing a wonderful website; however I think what Joan meant was that you are using Neville’s word that is available on the internet for free and charge. I understand you have free articles and recordings, etc… but they are ALL Neville’s articles that you had access to for free on the internet. Also a lot of times things that you address on your daily emails, is very superficial and never really goes deep to the heart of what Neville said. No need to get defensive, you should be open to criticism when you have an open forum. Again, I think you are doing a wonderful thing but everyone can improve their work.

    I don’t consider stating what we offer here to be defensive. And I don’t see where charging about a dollar per lecture to download is all that much. That pays for server time and expense that we have in building, and in improving the project.

    Joan’s post was a direct attack, “what would Neville think of you”. That’s not criticism, and it’s not factual. My response was factual,and could help her not only lose a bit of poverty consciousness, but also just might encourage her to dive in a bit.

    Detailed teachings, which take quite a bit more time to write about, are available in our books, which are on average $7 – and tend to come with 7 to 10 free downloadable audios (which make them in essence free), and very detailed teachings are in the bigger programs – which take loads of time to put together, and work with.

    Note: I just got a private email from a reader, who converted what Neville charged ($40 for a ticket), into today’s dollars – that same ticket would be over $280. Just food for thought.

    Thank you for your generousity and teachings – I find them very helpful and have purchased a couple of packs from you –
    I would love you to do a series on money – Like the business man in this example – i have been walking in faith and moving as best I can – I too have some difficulty in being too close and sometimes feel that I am cheating myself of the ability to manifest this last part of the equation – I have been creating art and words as well as self-published a book and then got picked up quickly by a traditional publisher and just published my second book – I am about to release an app for the iphone/ipads and have several products as well as post free material on my site and blog – the only thing that has not yet come into this third dimension is the dollars – I truly believe and have conceived, but this example really hit home for me as I seem to have the same challenge as he had (being too close) –
    What might you guide me to do to get over the hump?

  25. This note is to anyone who might feel resentful toward TT and V for charging for their services, based on Neville’s teachings. They are experienced coaches, doing an outstanding job of interpreting the teachings of a great master. Anyone can read Neville’s messages but even Neville himself said the lessons have no meaning unless they are put to use. Their consistent, repetitive coaching simplifies Neville’s teaching and helps students to stay focused until the message is fully understood. By the way, their fees are ridiculously modest and affordable.

    First let me state I have purchased the prosperity pack, mastery lessons and am one of the few to be in the mastermind program. All of which have already paid 10x back which I invested. I have a beautiful home, new job and have had money show up unexpectedly with what i would call little effort.

    Don't get caught up on price and it costing you, instead focus on what you receive. What ever you focus on expands and why not make it on what you want and not what you don't want.

    The NLP with the Neville mix will help transform your live from ordinary to amazing, but it is up to you to make it happen.

    Focus on love, blessings and being thankful and your universe will reciprocate with the same in your world.

    There are many times Neville says he never asks for money from the stage, from the pulpit. He didn’t feel the need to guilt people into paying, or asking for tithes. He simply charged. Want to come? Pay for it.

  31. Joan, please do not take offense to what I said or am about to say. The question still remains. Why would anyone that has a gift to teach give it away for free? I did not miss what you said. Maybe I should of put it a different way. Example: Bob Proctor teaches what Napoleon Hill knew and taught yet he charges 50,000 an hour to speak at business conferences so what would Napoleon Hill say? Your words that Mr Twenty should do this for free and what would Neville think about him charging his fees sounded like an attack on Mr Twenty. I've been in this 13 years and I can tell you from personal experience that my clients find more value in something they pay for rather then getting it free. When people do get stuff for free it is of no value to them. It goes in the closet. When they pay for it, then it's more valuable to be used. The ones that pay for real value like Mr Twenty gives, are the ones that do apply the teachings and finally succeed. I've followed Mr Twenty for a long time and I can tell you from personal experience that he is one of the nicest, honest, loving teachers I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and his fees are nothing compared to other teachers. Hope that clears up that I did not misunderstand you. Have a great day 🙂

    BTW, I was curious myself and went to an inflation calculator to compare $40 in 1966 to what it would be today.. today over $280 per person, his 60% would be over $168

  37. There is NO WAY Neville could have given free lectures.. he would have at least had to charge enough to cover the venue. NO VENUE is going to give you the place all night rent free.

    We’ve shared one of the lectures where Neville shares what he charged, and how he split the money. He would have made quite a decent living in his time. And of course he deserved to, he had true prosperity consciousness.

This issue of charging money for “spiritual” services can be a heated on and came up for me early on in my spiritual training….I too could not see charging for services, feeling that if a person has the “gift” they should just pass it on to benefit mankind….What I came to understand later was that was “programmed” thinking, like Jesus in the bible who would give all his knowledge away for free and not use money….It was also programmed thinking that churches emphasized to keep people in their places and give their money to the church….We do live in a “world of Caesar” and Neville states many times, we have rent to pay, bills to pay, families who depend on us to support, etc…We have every right to take money for services—it’s all being circulated anyway….We live in a monetary based world here on planet earth!
    When it comes down to it everyone is here on earth to EXPERIENCE what they want to experience, and if someone determines that they want to make lots of money through charging people, then they have every right, just as we have the right to decide where we want to put our money…..
    Neville’s brother once told Neville that Neville was on a spiritual quest and that was okay, but the brother wanted to accumulate money in the world of Caesar and that was okay too–he went on to start a Goddard dynasty on the islands which had worldwide acceptance and wealth beyond measure, all by using spiritual techniques—to each their own….
    Stop looking at the speck in others eyes and tend to our own business….We are all one, it all good!
    I think you TT for filling a need for us all in whatever form we choose to receive it…..

  47. I love this response on so many levels. Especially the option – to judge or create.
    Aside from all the free options, the daily lessons, the coffee club, free videos… your actuall other costs are..what start at $7.00 or something.
    And I love the gentle way you present, as you always do every thing, every time, the idea of…research before you determine what is right for you. Facts often help that.

    You had the opportunity right there to judge and…attack? or, let’s say, respond harshly – and your choose…to be what makes your soul feel good…invitation. Safety.

    Joan – maybe, never buy anything. Take in all the free things neville, and twenty, offer… and let your life be changed! CREATE it any way you want!
    Neville did not support the poverty mentality, himself. But you can support any feeling you want, and stay in any state you want… the power – and the responsibility of that – can be daunting as we break free of old beliefs and habits.

    PS; I for one. have “bought” every Neville book that is printed… even though every bit of it is in the free public domain. I feel wonderful to support anyone who helps it get more broadcast to more people in more venues that more people can find more readily.

  49. I so agree! Twenty is like a wonderful curator and care taker of the beauty of the truth, the true message – and unravels some of the language for us here in everyday application, experiences, trials and choices.
    If I just read Neville..it would reach me, but take so much longer. Reading Neville originally (as hinted at by Wayne Dyer) led me to you, Twenty.
    What a creation I made for myself -the friend walking the path of this great truth for and with me.

  50. Joan – there is never a wrong state, there is only the state you choose… you fill.
    And from where you “were” there was fear (choice to deflect the study and the truth that could reach you) and there was argument (for the sake of being right and arguing etc..) nothing is wrong, nothing is wasted… it is from now (over a year later I am writing you) that you test… what FEELS BETTER?
    And I can assure you when all defense and fear is dropped – even temporarily, as we gain our footing and our own trust of our own counsel – you find your way not to the “Right State” – but to the state that fulfills you wish. perhaps your wish is to understand Neville..as it “seems’ like it could work for you…? perhaps you know there is a truth bigger than you opinion/argument – or anyone else’s too! – but you have not found your way to that state yet…?
    When the distraction is dropped…and there begins that really scary – and then really powerful – movement of accepting the power that your imagination is…. and then TAKE that responsibility… wow. Everything shifts.
    I am that shift.
    I am living that shift – and there is no one, no thing, to argument – that can “bind” me from my state fulfilled. I may distract myself a bit here and there (fall of the wagon) as old beliefs grip my heart somewhere… but the true truth of ME – is that I AM. I AM here. I AM living my purpose and dream. And I speak my language, of it.

    There is no wrong state. You are.
    Create anew.
    YAY for you Joan – as I scrolled down these discussions… I was so happy to see the light under the doorway for you. ALL of us here..would hold that space for anyone. That is the purpose of people outside of US.

    Try writing in not all caps too.. it is funny, I know..but you will feel better! I do, anyway! 🙂

    I would offer that… some places would indeed offer a venue for free. I have done it many a time.
    BUT – your thinking that Neville would not given free lectures – unless he chose to – would be so correct. The thinking of WHY he wouldn’t seems… flawed? in that he can create all he wants, as can we.
    I walk in this weird wonderful world of anything free/discounted/ priced as needed I need, I get. And I mean – anything.
    So… I would propose that Neville, if he thought it were something he wanted to do/offer/support…he could very easily find (call forth) a free venue.

    Anything limiting… provoke me into thought. Thank you for that PAtrice!

  52. Thank you so much for sharing this. Last time i send you email about wanting to become a forex trader. I’ve been using feel it real for the past months and now i found a winning strategy. Ive been studying forex trading for 5 years but never experience wins before. For 2 months now Im earning average of 200 pips daily for trading just 1-2 hours after my work. Imagine if I can trade fulltime during london session. I can surely earn 500-1000 pips daily. Now for the past couple of days, I have convinced myself that I can now trade forex for a living. But i need at least 50,000 yen. Thats what im working on for the past days and night, and today i just read your mail about manifesting money. I dont know if its coincidence. 🙂

  57. I like to think of myself as a kind of ‘caretaker’ of things – and also of money. Those who know me understand my recycling business: I pass along items that were formerly owned by others; they are given new life as clients/neighbors gratefully accept, and use them. I also spend money, passing THAT along with joy as well. I view money as not possessing any consciousness of and by itself, but as a means by which I can make real my goals, and again, pass along that value to others, either in need, or for trade (groceries, rent, etc). I pay my bills directly they arrive, and say a soft blessing to their destined goal…as I drop the envelopes in the mailbox. I donate to causes I feel are worthy, also open handed. And it never fails – something comes back to me, either more money unexpected, or some creative opportunity, or a ‘find’ which brings still more value into my life. I often silently muse on, “I have a lavish, steady, dependable income, consistent with integrity and mutual benefit..” The more I let it go, (it seems) the more comes back, the more I have – tenfold. Bread on the waters?..Hmm, maybe so..!! :-))
