You DO NOT want to detach from what you’ve CHOSEN…

Living FROM your state – is gonna FEEL GREAT – LIBERATING – EMPOWERING.

- Everything in your life is a state of consciousness made visible. (So as you change your state of consciousness, and every thing in your life will change.)
- To create change in your life, you have to first define the exact state you want in life. (What kind of man do you choose to be? What do you choose to have / be / do in the world?)
- Then you DETACH yourself from the old Negative States, and ATTACH yourself fully to the state of your wish fulfilled. (Let go of limiting states. Become the spectator of negative states, and the participant of positive ones. How can you do that effectively?
So EXACTLY how did Neville practice detachment?

“Just 14 Days Later!”
Through the 14 days I’ve been doing your course I’ve made a lot of improvements. I can easily notice when I start to react to the outer world, and I can bring the attention back in and tell myself that the situation itself means nothing but that my imagination is going wild again.
I’ve been able to shrug things off and go back to my desired state without judging myself or holding my reactions against me. (This is HUGE!)
I’ve also been able to mentally laugh at others (not in a mean way but just knowing that I was once there as well) who react so quickly and go all in on being mad and upset about a silly problem which meams nothing. It’s strange to know that I was once like that and even weirder to know that the only thing that made me mad or sad was myself!
Im feeling a very large sense of power over my life coming out. It quite literally feels like my minds eye is opening, its hard to explain. (THIS is where REAL FUN begins!)

Thanks 20/20! Really almost the opposite of a lot of LOA teaching – to detach from the outcome – whereas Neville is effectively saying to dwell in it. That concept always used to give me trouble.
Yes, this is really one of your most clear lesson. These subtleties are so freeing, and so empowering -and as we get the hang of it and really pay attention to where and what we are holding as our state, it is so true – everything follows. The feelings, hesitations, closure, fear etc that I may feel now… are so so so small and subtle (usually) and that alerts me to the refinement of my choices. Thank you for a wonderful lesson today.

I know that Neville is right, however, what does one do when feeling depressed?
Perhaps if you just imagine yourself happy . Remember "we are all imagination" . Just have the film in your mind and let the solution come…
It is awesome, for I’ve tried so many self-development methods and this is the FIRST time I read about being detached FROM NEGATIVE states and not detached from your goal – also the first time I don’t hear about “taking care of your wounded/suffering parts”, things I used to try and which were making me dive deeper in a depressed states. It is very freeing, to know that I can do the way you -and Neville -teach.
This site is great! It’s so nice to find moder-day mentors of Neville’s teachings. I think I’ll purchase some items, although, can I download them to my iPhone?
After I do a session I feel happier and more at cause with my responsibility and knowing I cause good things to happen. I notice my brother is doing alot better than a month ago because I in session carry conversation with him telling me more money coming in rent is paid and new prospects is in reach all this while he in unemployed! Here I am – a year+ later… reading this again, moved again. JUST this morning I sent this to a colleague and friend. and related it to how I fell into an unwanted state. I had all my reasons…of course. And I was “right” of course, in the way of the world…and yet, I suffered.
As we chatted and I asked him to read from Neville…Ah, not only did I understand a-new, but of course, I stood their naked realizing again that I was, at that very moment, unable (unwilling) to choose different story threads, different voices – even as we are reading. I asked him to talk instead of me – b/c I could not shake the current story choice.
I say this because – as an advanced student of Neville… I did all the “things’ one does before going to sleep. Revising. Check. New energy. Check. Feeling it real. Check.
Then I awoke at 3:00 AM with fighting voices over this particular drama.
Old story. Check.
We can know what we know, and we cannot unknow it. So I had this sort of dual experience of knowing I was choosing what I was choosing, and now – and just a few hours later – all drama ceased, and I could see clearly, and re-take ownership of me and my life. And, truly, honestly, against all seeming odds – Revision occurred, WORD FOR WORD.
We suffer until we don’t suffer, anymore. For me, you know my patterns TWenty, and you are my friend. I say to everyone out here reading – we let our states get contaminated – until we don’t.
Now, in my real life story – I can say a “drama” that may have lasted for weeks, crashed businesses or ended friendships – now if they occur at all, pass into a healthy observation within hours, or less.
I will suffer until I COMPLETELY choose not to. It is the Pearl of Great Price.

Roxana, read my long response up there from today. And read the comments of our fellow travellers. Depression and/or any contaminated state… ah, we have the option -every minute – to choose a different state to define us, our lives, our goals.
When I was in turmoil the other night (aka depressed) I was so surprised to find myself in such an old patterning…and yes, STILL RIGHT…haha
The Power of Knowing…you are choosing it – is a powerful step towards letting it go. My friend who called me – we share meditation and Neville once a week. And that day -I asked him to just rad, NOT have me talk..everytime I had the opportunity to speak – I spoke the story of my disappointment (aka depression) and because I knew the words being read were THE truth instead of my smaller “truth”…. I CHOSE AGAIN.
ANy question we may ask – about lonely/depressed/angry etc… it is always the same answer.
Do the Formula.
FEEL real what you really want, and sit with, own, look at what you may be choosing instead, then allow the Formula to take you to your joy/money/job etc….
Always, it is the same.

I did a few feel it real sessions on something I was wanting quite desperately months back and came to the difficult and sad conclusion that it probably isn’t meant to be. So from that, I have practiced acceptance of the outcome of not having it and being ok with that.
Here’s the thing. Since that moment, I have been exposed to several and big universal signs of what I wanted (without the actual manifestation) in my life. I’ve always taken signs very seriously, I am unsure of what to do next. it was so painful to let go- and sometimes i regress back to the state of having it-, but then quickly change my thoughts to being ok not having it.
I hope this is making sense. I just now wish for peace and contentness with my life

Well, twenty is the expert – but I have something to offer from my own experiences Ash: The flip flopping is not empowering, deepening the state. It confuses -therefore contaminates – the state.
AS HARD as it is to take sometimes…when we are “MOSTLY” doing everything right…. ah, is to choose again. Do the Formula, Again. Stay with it. The true evidences follow – and the signs are showing you, perhaps, that you are close. Or, that you are “looking” in the right direction etc…
But Close…is not enough. And, it is an indicator of your own “almost”. Be…brave enough to take on the entire Radical Responsibility…. the Pearl of Great Price – to go and be and do and have…all the way. THEN your signs change.
They are you.
