Hey mates,
Today’s Neville Goddard quote is answering one of your questions. “Mr Twenty Twenty, Should we put a date on what we want, or not? Does putting a date on it block it? This is how I get to my goals that I am working on and I am confused. Everybody has an opinion, what does Neville say?” – Jan
With that in mind, here is today’s Neville Goddard quote from Imaginal Acts Become Facts:
“See him as he would like to be seen by the world. and you see him as you would like to see him. and then, carry on a mental conversation with him from the premise that he is now already the one he wants to be and to the degree that you are self-persuaded that he is that. he becomes that. You don’t have to raise one finger to make this up, you plant the seed. What do you do after you plant the seed? You leave it. You don’t get up every morning to see if it has a root, you leave it. A seed must fall into the ground and die before it is made alive. And if it dies, it bears much fruit and so you put it into the seed into the ground of your own wonderful human imagination. The very mind the vision has it’s own appointed hour. it ripens. It will flower. If it be long, wait for it is sure and it will not be late. Not for one seed. One seed might take 24 hours. Another might take like a hens egg, 21 days. A little lambs takes 5 months, a horse takes a year, human beings 9 months. So each seed has its own appointed hour. So don’t be concerned.” – Neville Goddard – Imaginal Acts Become Facts
Powerpoints from the quote:
- See him like he would like to be seen, as you would like to see him. (Notice there is no date implied. It is assumed to be NOW.)
- Carry on a mental conversation that implies that he is that way – to the point that you accept it as true.
- This is referred to as planting the seed. Leave it alone
- It will ripen, it will flower in it’s own appointed hour. Don’t be concerned.
We notice time and time again, Neville simply assumes, “that it is done”. When we put a time limit on WHEN it GETS done, we notice that that tends to feel forceful. So when it is a VISION we are dealing with – we simply assume, “it is done” and function FROM that premise. I see the world through the bestselling author’s state of mind. It is done.
My daily goals – which have a time frame – are how I personally participate in that growing in my life. I don’t have a goal of being a bestselling author, but I do have goals of writing so many pages a day – articles – emails etc. They don’t make the best selling author happen, they are just part of the lifestyle.
I hope that helps.
Mr Twenty Twenty and Victoria.
PS: Victoria and I are living a vision for our garden. You see many photographs of it here on FREENEVILLE.COM. One thing we have noticed is that we need helpers, to help us do the heavy work. So we have seen them “as here”. Recently we have manifested two helpers. Young men, who simply out of the blue love us, and love where we live, and who are willing to help us. And we are blessed to have their help in the garden. They help us with our goals every week, and while we have been blessed by them becoming part of our vision.

I’ve read that in a few a Neville’s books. It had never, until this moment actually made sense! Our job is to live in the Now, whatever we need already exists in the Now. So the moment we need it, it’ll be there. Take on the attitude of possessing it Now.
Hi Twenty twenty. Does this “planting the seed and then leave it alone” mean we should not repeat the imaginal act say on a daily basis as we are going to sleep at night? Even Neville did this. Is this an apparent contradiction?
Robert
Hi Robert,
Digging it up is looking for evidence that it is real – on the outside – instead of knowing it is real – because you feel it as real. Neville talks about Mental Miscarriage – which is essentially the same thing. Worry, fretting, forcing… all those are digging it up. Just feel it real, come from the state of the wish fulfilled – in your sessions, and in your life. Let us know if this makes sense. TT and V
Note: You can read more about mental miscarriage and how to eliminate that in our book FREEDOM.
Thanks for the reply.
What you say does make sense. Still I want to know if the imaginal act needs to be repeated over and over until it manifests even if it feels ‘real’ from the first time; or is continued repetition really implying that ‘the fellow within’ is not convinced and one needs to repeat until ‘he’ is convinced?
Robert
Neville shares both ways Robert.
I tend to experience it this way. I tremendously enjoy the feeling of the wish fulfilled, so any chance I get to enter into it – it is an act of love making.
Sort of like making a baby. It only takes “once” to make a baby, but it sure is enjoyable to do it again and again and again.
I don’t need to do the act repeatedly – or make love repeatedly – but BOTH sure do feel good, and both tend to give birth to wonderful feelings – and babies.
TT
PS: I notice that many people don’t “Orgasm” – into the feeling of the wish AS TOTALLY FULFILLED, and tend to keep frantically doing their sessions to make it happen. That’s not the same as “making love to the miracle”, which involves fully creating it and fully surrendering INTO the state of it. The more I made “love” with my inner blackbelt when I was a teenager, the more “he” showed up in my life. It became destined. I would do a session back then, and be unable to continue the session, because I knew – “it is done”. Then I couldn’t help but get up, and get to the YMCA to work out. It was so real that I had to get to it. But the next day or two later, another session, just because they felt good, and gave me juice.
Note: That’s why we made the Frantic / Orgasmic recordings and the Create the State ones. To help people explore the tiny bits around this. I think you have them already. Neville also shared that feeling anxious after a session was mental miscarriage, and many people keep forcing sessions in their lives – because they haven’t done ONE good one. Obviously feeling anxious about “is it going to happen” is NOT coming from the state of fulfillment. Hope that helps mate. Reach out anytime.
Thanks TT & V. Have read over what you wrote several times as well as read some of your recent postings. sounds like your saying what Neville implied by “feeling the ring on your finger” and the emotion surrounding this sensation. I think you cover this in your book Power.
Robert
From one of Neville’s essays, he said that say, if you wish for something to occur by the coming Sunday, assume the feeling of it being Sunday today and drench yourself in the feeling of the wish fulfilled (since every day of a week has a particular feeling for you, just like seasons of the year.) It will help manifest it in line with your timeline, as long as it in sync with the nature of the desire to be manifested.
Love and light!
Hi Ginny,
If you could find that particular lecture for us, I would be greatly appreciative.
As you probably know, generally, Neville teaches to feel the wish fulfilled, and not concern yourself as to when, because our “tiny mind” likes to choose when, where, and how it will happen – and the core of his methods focus on a scene that implies that it has already happened.
Here is a goodie most people miss, when he focuses on details, he tends to focus on details in the scene that implies (that follows sometime in the future) the wish having been fulfilled (who was there – what they did to congratulate you) and he doesn’t concern himself with any detail at all about the how or when or who it got fulfilled with.

HELP Lol…ok I have the wish fulfilled thing together I have a very good imagination and I love to Meditate, visualize ,etc so getting into the State akin to sleep is pretty easy for me. The issue is that I have so many things I want to accomplish that I don’t know what to focus on first.
For instance I have 6 children and of course I want different things for all of them do I just lump them all together and imagine us being happy with all of desires met as a unit or do I imagine things for them individually or both. Then I have a business I want to earn a Minimum of $1,000 a day to start but ultimately I know that it will be a multimillion dollar business. How do I focus on what I want right now the $1,000 a day and also acknowledge the fact that it will be a Multimillion dollar business.
It’s not hard for me to imagine what t it feels like to have a Millions of dollars. I had an IT business with my Ex that he basically screwed me out of my share , divorced me and married our Business partner . I have been imagining him giving me my fair share and apologizing to me for all the drama.
I can feel it real to the point where his apology moves me to tears. I forgave him a long time ago for my own , my kids and his sake , I just want what is rightfully mine.
I just want the $1,000 a day NOW. I also want a New car and a New home we are currently living with my Sister and sharing one car. I can imagine myself an my kids in my Dream house, etc.
I also need the money to pay for my 3 kids that will all be in college in the Fall, the Ex is not helping with that so far although I have been imagining that we reconcile as far as him helping with the kids… I have started imagining him helping me to move the kids into their dorm rooms and him surprising them by showing up on move in day etc…
SO I guess the real question is SHOULD I just imagine having all the Money I need NOW because, hat would solve almost all the other issues, r should I focus on each individual need. .. Anyway sorry for the Novel… just want to be in the perfect flow to manifest all my many desires,,, Thank you so much for all you do. Finding your site and Nevilles teaching had been a TRUE GODSEND…
Hi Cara,
Keep reading the articles, and exploring the site.
I suspect you’ll find that as you do, what you want becomes more and more consolidated, making it even easier to feel real.
And any drama, tension or distraction will naturally fade away.
You are on fire for Neville, it’s a great place to be.
Blessings,
TT and V
What wonderful thoughts! I have always wanted to know why the time limit thing was just a bundle of failure to happen, even fully believing in it. This is a much better feeling to approach it as already having happened; and repeated thoughts as something you enjoy, not “have” to do. I like these approaches! Thank you.
Hi Twenty Twenty, great stuff. I'm in sales and setting daily and monthly objectives and goals is a daily routine for me and helps me to track my progress. So I mentally understanding the concept shared in this posting, but I'm still looking to understand how I can work in a sales environment where "results are the only thing that matter" and where weekly sales are to be met without giving myself deadlines and hard dates to have my objectives accomplished. It sounds like Neville is saying see and feel it real what you want, but don't have a date or deadline for the manifestation to happen. Well how can I make plans? Plan to hit objectives? Etc. I hope you understand what I'm asking.
Hi Kahil!
Fantastic question. I used to be in sales where we had weekly quotas, and of course – you are setting your own success goals too. And in our “business and trading” activities – there are numbers that need to be met for uas as well. So….
Let’s do something most people miss. Let’s move the focus.
Focus on using Feel It Real to optimize YOU as a sales professional. As that sales professional, who knows what to do and how to do it, and who does it – how does it feel to be at that level? How do you REACT to the world? What’s “the difference” between the old “beginner” you (which may be from years ago or just weeks ago) to the “highly successful sales exec”? Have fun with those.
Power Point: The manifestation becomes much easier and much more effective because it the focus has moved from “the sales” to “the sales rep”. Manifesting “the sales” means you have to do it again and again. Manifesting a “sales award” for being #1 could be fun, but that also could induce stress. But manifesting THE IDEAL YOU in sales, that would be great fun, on many levels.
