Hi Elena,
When we manifest for others, especially if it is for people that we don’t personally know (like a homeless man that I passed recently) or have a deep emotional connection with, there is often no inner conflict or resistance or hoping that gets in the way of quickly and fully Feeling It Real.
So, odds are after I pass the homeless man, and have my loving imaginal experience of him in imagination – I won’t be thinking about him any more. Not seeing him every day in my life makes it EASY, almost effortless to have just ONE thought and ONE feeling about him – the thought and feeling of my ideal for him – and let it become manifest.
Contrast that with your own life. It’s easy to have daily thoughts show up, about you and your own life, that can contaminate your state. And that’s why we do multiple sessions – and that is why we use the state akin to sleep.
POWER POINT: When we are manifesting for ourselves, we go into that state akin to sleep where the creative and healing brainwaves are most active – and also where the “betawave brain” that has all the monkey chatter in it is SILENT. Notice what Neville has to say.

when you go to a state akin to sleep and finish counting to 50, can you then do your reel it feel session and then after you are done count to 5 and come back to present moment? Is it possible to lay down and do this right before going to sleep as well and not sit on a chair?

Doing this laying down, will tend to take you into the state OF sleep, which is okay after you are done feeling it real.

This is a really good question that I myself have had. Visualizing for a friend seems easy and she has told me it’s working. I’m amazed!! Yet for myself, as you say, things creep in all the time to make it harder to stay on track. Thanks for this post, it’s very helpful.
