Hi TT and V–
Just a quick note to catch you up on my progress with applying the Neville teachings and feel-it-real methods. One of my goals has been to find a job that pays me enough to live comfortably, with a company and staff that I like doing interesting, challenging work in my profession, and that is close to home.
I had been looking for a job for about 15 months, and finances were quite tight. I found your site and the Neville teachings in mid-November (on my birthday, in fact!). I started doing sessions daily, mostly for an increase in income so I could meet my basic needs.
Then, about 1 month after I started doing sessions, I got a great lead on a job from a former colleague. I jumped on the lead right away and followed up with the company. Within about 8 days from the initial contact, I interviewed with the company owner. Over the space of 2 weeks, I had 2 more interviews on site.
All the while I persisted in seeing and feeling myself shaking hands with the owner congratulating me and my friend who works at the company giving me a congratulatory hug. I experienced myself walking through the office with my new supervisor who introduced me to the other employees and showed me my workspace. I saw and felt this all in “first person,” not from a detached “third-person” state.
Finally, on Tuesday of this week I got a call from the company’s owner. He and I spent about 30 minutes in a final interview, and then he offered me the position, at an acceptable salary with the promise of an increase fairly soon if I meet performance expectations.
Oh, and the office is about 2.5 miles from my home and right on the bus line. I am absolutely thrilled as finding a decent-paying job in my field, at my age (54) and in a “tight” economy up until recently seemed a daunting challenge. Yet, the challenge really melted away when I simply imagined what I wanted from the perspective of feeling it real and really living the experience of having this job with this company in my imagination.
So again, thanks for all the great information you are sharing on your website and your considerable skill, dedication, and enthusiasm in making it understandable and accessible to many people.
