Hi Mr Twenty Twenty ,
My boyfriend has a small piece of land that was willed to him, and we come to find out there was a lien against the property for $17,000, which is close to what the land is worth.
I imagined my boyfriend calling me (right after his visit to the irs) and telling me that the lien got waved.
And it did ! I was absolutely confident when I imagined!
I’m excited about this!
I would like get better at manifesting things that I have emotional attachment to, that I have wanted for quite some time. Do you have any suggestions?
Thank You for your great work !
Tina from Manifesting Mastery
“This is done by thinking of a friend and hearing him tell you his good news. You can watch his facial expression change as he speaks to you. You can see him stand erect, wearing clothes he is proud of, as you feel the thrill of his change.”
“And if you will believe that what you are now seeing is real, you can relax in the knowledge that one day your friend will conform to what have you done in your imagination!” – Neville Goddard
Hi Tina,
Good on you for Following-The-Formula and diving into the Manifesting Mastery lessons like you have. This stuff totally changes your life, and takes you and those around you from being victim of circumstance to conscious creators – a Master of Manifesting.
Let’s dive into your question now, on what to do when you have emotional attachment.
Here’s what we notice – almost every single time.
When we have an emotional attachment to something – it almost always seems that we’ve left room in our lives to feel that it isn’t there yet. It’s like there is a longing for it – instead of a feeling that we have it already.
And we know, FEELING as if it’s a Rock Solid Done Deal is vital to success.
And that’s why most people at this point, make the mistake of DETACHING from “it”.
They make the mistake of “Being okay either way”. Don’t do that.
Instead, do what Neville says to do:
“The purpose of practicing detachment is to separate us from our present reactions to life and attach us to our aim in life. This inner separation must be developed by practice. At first we seem to have no power to separate ourselves from undesirable inner states, simply because we have always taken every mood, every reaction, as natural and have become identified with them.”
“When we have no idea that our reactions are only states of consciousness from which it is possible to separate ourselves, we go round and round in the same circle of problems – not seeing them as inner states but as outer situations.”
“We practice detachment, or inner separation, that we may escape from the circle of our habitual reactions to life. That is why we must formulate an aim and constantly notice ourselves in regard to that aim.” – Neville Goddard
Notice how Neville teaches detachment. It’s all about the practice of leaving behind the old state (where you aren’t there yet) and living from the CHOSEN state. In every moment, we have the opportunity to do that.
And every moment we leave behind the old and allow ourselves to be held by the chosen – our chosen grows.
Many blessings Tina! See you in Manifesting Mastery!

To get results like we do – you’ve got to do what we do.
Wow, fantastic!
Wish I could do that for my comparatively small parking fine…trouble is i cannot get past my previous ‘programming’ , I seem quite (very in fact) good at manifesting for others (houses, health etc), less so for myself…and I reckon I even worked out why – not because I am too attached or anxious about the outcome , rather because I’ve been brought up to believe anything I do for myself makes me SELFISH…selfish being used almost as a dirty word in this context.
How can i overcome this – any helpful pointers or blunt wake-up calls much appreciated,
Hugs to you both TT and V
Imagining lovingly for others is easy, hard for myself….Jesus always saw the best in everyone, did he do that for himself too or is it the knowing that your father, God himself obviously always imagines the best for you, his son/daughter?
Another fantastic story proving the word of God truly has dominion over the world of Caesar! I remember when I was scared straight of taxes and administration in general, believing their officers were really petty and sadistic, ready to harass you over the slightest oversight. So it’s good to know we can use Neville’s teachings to reestablish right relationships and divine order in our affairs: NOT to avoid paying a fair amount of taxes (paying one’s taxes actually becomes a testament of our faith in God’s infinite supply), but to smooth our dealings with administration, and make sure we’re being treated mercifully and speedily, so we can spend less time worrying about paperwork and more time enjoying life!
There are two ways to go about your fine: either 1. you stop worrying and imagine IT IS already waved (imagine receiving a letter or meeting an officer telling you so), or 2. pay it willingly and joyfully while you relax in the knowledge that God supplies your every need and has your greater good at heart. I personnally prefer the second option because it takes doubt away and creates a feeling of plenty, as though you’re telling your subconscious mind you have the means to pay for anything in full straight away. Who knows what’ll happen next? You might actually get a refund or receive a much larger sum of money from unexpected sources.
In any case, you must stop worrying and feel that the fine is no longer an issue: see yourself filing it away, you’re done with it for good!
Also, I can understand your reluctance to ask for particular things for yourself, but you must nonetheless banish thoughts of fear and lack and lie instead in the certainty that God cares for you and wants the absolute best for you and everyone else. We often wonder if what we desire is really what God desires for us… The best way to deal with this issue is to surrender your conflicted mind to divine wisdom, assuming that now your thoughts and desires are directly inspired from God, so that you’re thinking God’s thoughts and desiring what God desires for you. It will take away any sense of doubt and fear, and quicken manifestation since nothing can oppose God’s will, except our own doubts and fears.
Thank you for your loving and insightful response Christophe, I really appreciate that.
Blessings to you
Hi Zarah!
We’ll be writing an article on this, because it’s a goodie – and it seems common.
The best thing you can do – is be manifesting – for you – by creating a new you that is okay with receiving and with having / being more.
Most people have problems at some level, giving to themselves and being given to, and if you move beyond that state (and it’s only a state) and move into the state of one that enjoys being given to and accepting – you are modeling that out for others.
Which is the most giving thing you can do.
You are greater than any state, you are the wisdom and the power of God.
Blessings Zarah!

Hi Zarah!
We have the option, being one with God and manifesting through imagination, to imagine good, bad, or indifferent. Seems like most of what’s imagined in the world, is lukewarm or indifferent.
Then there is the addiction to “negativity”, which can only happen when one buys into believing they are limited, negative, defective etc……
What you are seeing as lovely in others – can only be seen by the same in you. The lovely you – sees the lovely them. Allow yourself to accept the lovely you – by leaving behind the less than “self loving” states.
As mentioned above, the best gift you can give to others – is discovering and noticing the love you are.
And allowing that to give to you. It inspires others to allow themselves to accept the gifts of this adventure of a lifetime.
Blessings!

TT and V, thank you for giving! = )
Thank you everyone! This exchange was wonderful to read.
Thank You! I would like to amend my previous comment though. There are NO 2 ways about your fine. The ONLY way is to dwell in the desired state: imagine you’re already free of your “burden”, it is dealt with once and for all in the most perfect, harmonious manner, so you can go on with your life without worrying about it. The most appropriate means to that end will make themselves known naturally, once you dwell secure in the knowledge that it is done.
TT will probably make everything clear in his upcoming post and dispell any falsity I might have uttered. He’s the expert, and I’m just an eager student.
Cheers everyone!
I really liked the thought of paying taxes, bills etc because it “actually becomes a testament of our faith in God’s infinite supply” and “God supplies your every need and has your greater good at heart.” Those are new thoughts to add to my gathering wisdom. Thanks Christophe
