Dear Mr Twenty Twenty and Victoria,
I feel stuck. I can’t really figure out what I want. All I know is I fee lost right now, and I want to make good money while making a difference like you. How do I begin? Thanks!
Al
Hi Al,
Let’s dive in with this quote of Neville Goddard’s and explore how to apply it to your life today. This is going to be great fun!
“The key is this: While in a state you no longer desire to express, you must move inwardly by claiming: ‘I remember when I was in a state I did not like.” If you can remember it you are no longer in it. Instead you are becoming aware of your new state as a present objective fact.”
“And if you will remain faithful to your new awareness, it will crystallize. You will find yourself moving across a series of events which will lead you to the fulfillment of your desired state. How it will come about I do not know. I only know it will unfold.” – Neville Goddard
You can apply this to ANY STUCK STATE Al. That’s whats cool. So, what we are going to suggest, is using it to remember when – you were lost – not clear – not sure what to do.
What would your life be like, how many ways would it have changed – if you experienced all that – as a distant memory?
Let’s dive in to Neville’s 3 Steps To Freedom.
How To Feel It Real – Step One: Remember what your “current” situation WAS like. (Notice Neville doesn’t say just say the words, “I Remember When”, he tells you to actually REMEMBER it in the past. Because if you can remember what it was like – to be lost or to be confused or to not know what you want – you no longer are there. It is now just part of your past that you have moved beyond.
How To Feel It Real – Step Two: Notice the NEW STATE you are becoming aware of and remain faithful to this new AWARENESS. This new awareness of what it’s like to experience the world from a sense of clarity, of purpose, one where you experience financial freedom and freedom from fear. Explore and deepen those new feelings. It’s there that you will find, what you’ve been looking for.
How To Feel It Real – Step Three: Neville says you will find yourself MOVING across a series of events which will lead to the physical fulfilment of your desired states. (You don’t get to pick what these are, they will unfold on their own.)
This is what’s good fun. You get to actually become a whole new you, a whole new level of you gets given birth to. And it all begins, by letting what you have been experiencing, move into the past – and feeling it like a memory.
This approach of Neville’s is a bit different than what most people usually focus on. It works because you are moving a problem that has been dominating your consciousness into the past – FEELING it in the past – so you can discover and be embraced by the feelings of what you want in your future.
Choosing to feel how you would feel GENERALLY will move you across a bridge of incident in life to where you notice what your next move will be – what it is you truly want to do for money – how you wish to serve humanity.
“If you would have told me 10 years ago I would be The Neville Goddard Guy, I would have giggled about that. I got to discover how big a part Neville and his teachings would help us serve the world – by doing just this.”

This is great! I’m going through a similar situation, so I can relate. My challenge when imagining is getting into the feeling, because I’m not exactly sure what I want, but that I know it involves freedom, fun and “being in the flow— without fear,” just not sure how to put that into one replaying scene when I imagine. So after reading this, am I to imagine a scene where I’m remembering when I wasn’t free and not having fun and not being in the flow?
Up early reading my emails at 5:00 am, and what a better way to start my day but with such beautiful readings…Thank you!

Thank you
Can I use the “I remember when” technique in a slightly diferent way? The way Neville teaches it is “remembering” the state I’m in right now, impliying that the wish has been fulfilled and that I’m in a diferent state; but, can I play with it and change it a little bit? Let’s say it’s been hard for me to graduate from school and instead of saying “I remember when I couldn’t graduate” I say “I remember what a great time I had on my graduation party!!” I think it would be fun!
Thank you TT&V!! 🙂
This is such a wonderful lesson! Thanks so much Al for sharing your experience and to TT for the excellent response. I was reading Neville’s book – Awakened Imagination – and though I have read it again and again, one sentence jumped off the page today. “The spanning of the bridge between desire – thinking of – and satisfaction – thinking from – is all important.” Here’s the word that grabbed me…satisfaction. Thinking back on the work I’ve done and the things I’ve accomplished through Neville’s teaching, I know that I have reached the state of ‘thinking from’ when I feel satisfied. That feeling brings a sense of completion which is followed by a sense of relief. If I still feel anxiety when the subject crosses my mind again, I know I have more work to do.
Thanks TT for taking us through the process with such clear insight. Thanks Al for your share. Application to real-time cases like this really helps drive it home.
