Stress Free Manifesting – Neville Teaches Prayer
“Prayer is not so much what you ask for, as how you prepare for its reception. Whatsoever things ye desire, when ye pray believe that you have received them, and ye shall have them. The only condition required is that you believe that your prayers are already realized.” – Neville Goddard
My Native American elders called this, “the thank you prayer”.
We often would gather together, sit down, smoke tobacco in the pipe, and be still – knowing – it is – done.
In Effective Prayer, you don’t ask.
- You don’t beg.
- You don’t command.
- You don’t assert.
You just do two things…
- Get clear about what you truly want.
- Then, in the stillness that you are – you give thanks – knowing – it is – done.
Notice how Neville, teaches here:
“When I speak of feeling I do not mean emotion, but acceptance of the fact that the desire is fulfilled. Feeling grateful, fulfilled, or thankful, it is easy to say, “Thank You,” “Isn’t it wonderful!” or “It is finished.” When you get into the state of thankfulness, you can either awaken knowing it is done, or fall asleep in the feeling of the wish fulfilled.” – Neville Goddard
This is the best way to SURRENDER TO THE STATE so you don’t walk around OBSESSED by it. (Remember, obsession is not the same as posession. And obsession blocks your blessing – by bringing tension into Feeling It Real.

Lovely.Simple. Clear. Thank you.
Effective prayer requires just one condition from the person praying, faith or belief. The reason a lot of people don’t get their prayers answered is because they lack that only condition given us by the great Teacher, Jesus. He said “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” (Mark 11: 24). Jesus further said “All things are possible to him who believes” (Mark 9: 23). How simpler could it have been? The big question is, why is it difficult for people to believe?, the answer is simply because they forget who they are – that they are gods. When Jesus claimed to be God, He was accused of committing blasphemy and was about to be stoned and He reminded the accusers “Is it not written in your law that I say, “You are gods…”? (John 10:34). So in the end, they were unable to stone Him because He was quoting from their Scripture.
The formula for effective prayer therefore, is to believe and/or have faith. What do you desire? Regardless of your present situation, believe that you have received it, feel and see with your inner eye that it is already yours. Apostle Paul said ”Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” (Romans 12: 2) – that is what Neville called the “Law of Revision”. Do your part, and God will never fail to do His part, for “With God, all things are possible” (Matt. 19:26); Also “All things are possible to him who believes. Test yourself, it works!
