My Friends Keep Reminding Me That My Life Is Crappy – Help – Free Neville Goddard

Hi Mr Twenty Twenty, I have a question please. I recently started using your program and have bought a couple of your products.  I was in the middle of reading when I get a text from a friend who is pointing out how bad my situation is and she would be in the nut house if it was her. It’s like even when I’m not thinking about how crappy my life is someone chimes in to remind me of how crappy my life is. How do I get away from that without losing a friend?  Thank you for your help and I’m loving everything you write.

L. L.

Hey L. L.,

Let’s dive in and make some changes with the I Remember When method from Neville Goddard’s Toolbox with this quote and lesson.

“If I now say: “I remember when I lectured at the Woman’s Club in Los Angeles” I am implying I am no longer there, and am where I want to be. Remembering when you were poor, I have taken you out of poverty and placed you in comfort. I remember when you were sick, by taking you out of sickness and placing you in the state of health. I remember when you were unknown, implies you are now known. By changing my memory image of you, I can now remember when you, with all your fame and fortune, were unknown and broke. That was the secret of grandfather’s success.” – Neville Goddard

Notice how Victoria and I  use this method of Neville’s in three distinct steps in your situation.

  • “I Remember When – I used to let the comments of friends take me out of the state I choose to live from.”
  • “I Remember When my life was crappy and how that inspired me to make these amazing changes.”
  • “I Remember When it all started changing in the most awesome ways.”

You will notice that the first I Remember When brings the power home.   We each get to choose if the comments of friends will bother us – and for how long.    The second I Remember When is about the changes you have made and are making.   This keeps you in the driver’s seat.   And the third I Remember When is about Pure Possibility.  This allows your imagination to create loving and lovely scenes and feelings for you – in that state of wonder – wondering how it all will happen.

POWER POINT:  It’s not really “the words” that matter when using “I Remember When”.   What matters is CHOOSING to feel the FEELINGS behind them in your life.

What would happen if your friends and family were truly “on your side” and focused on what is truly possible?  You can help yourself and your friends by sharing with them this wonderful world of Neville Goddard.  It is amazing to think – MOST of the people in the world – truly don’t know or appreciate the power of the wonderful human imagination yet.

And by sharing with them how this works – more people are blessed.   We have had several members of our advanced programs form study groups with family and friends – so they can explore these teachings together – and help each other truly live this gift of life more fully.

Thank you for writing us today L.L.   Your share helps us bless the world with these wonderful teachings.  Have an amazing day and thank you for being a new member of Manifesting Mastery.

There is no mention of the power of the Holy Spirit in your lecture .we have a Heavenly Father outside of us,even if Goddard doesn’t agree with that. I’ve read most of his books, but the truth must be told. The truth will set u free.its not just about imagination, the spirit must be reborn, in order to enter the Kingdom of heaven, that is the truth of the matter. Please tell the people the truth, time is running out, it’s not just about money People are lost my brother.God bless u.

Respectfully, I think you are on the wrong site. I share my experience, just like Neville did. That is why we are here. If it doesn’t align with what you have been taught is true – that’s okay.

    Many blessings,

    Hi Zach,

Been there mate. There comes a time when you follow the lead of the imagination. What do you imagine doing that you would would love doing for money? If you imagine yourself doing that – your behavior and the behavior of the world will both change. And you will find yourself living a life that you love.

Blessings Zach, let us know if that makes sense. Maybe we can write an article on this too.

I know how you feel and I want to share something that may help. Two years ago I was out of a job. Though I didn’t wake up hating my job, I did wake up in fear everyday and all I could think about was going bankrupt and losing my home. But I did know my thoughts were creating more of the same results and I was getting nowhere. So I decided to play a game. What if I was doing what I love to do and making excellent money? How would that feel?

I sat at the computer for days and scanned through categories of want ads that suited my talents and experience. As I read each one I imagined what it would feel like to be working in those positions, not only for the money but for the joy. Then I saw an ad for a builder selling new homes. I had no direct experience but I loved visiting new homes, seeing their color and design and feeling the excitement of new beginnings. I had even called on this same builder years before when they were an advertising client. Back then, I wanted that job with that builder. As I was reading the ad I knew the job was mine because ‘I was already there.’

I got the job, got the joy, and got the money. I didn’t realize until I joined the Neville community that I had followed Neville’s formula for success. It works whether I use it consciously or not but it’s more fun now that I’m aware! It will work for you too Zack 🙂

Thanks TT! This is very useful and something that a lot of us are faced with. This together with the article regarding others imagining for you (the one where you reference Neville’s dentist) is so perfect for times when we feel a lack of control because of other people’s beliefs of us.
    Thanks for this article!

  8. zach says:

Yes I understand. I was just hoping that maybe After doing my sessions an then get side tracked in the day a little, how bad will it effect my session work. Thank you TT 🙂

  9. zach says:

Oh just read your post gail. Thank you 🙂

  10. Linda Hamilton says:

Some people want to decide when what they want is going to happen and they want it NOW but it does not work that way in most cases. You might need to feel it real many times a day for as long as it takes. It may take 2 days or years but you must stick with it and DO NOT DOUBT that it will happen no matter what anyone says.It works for small or large desires.

  11. zach says:

Thats so true linda thank you. You are all amazing 🙂

  12. Nat says:

I’ve struggled with the same issue Zach. What helped me out of this bind was to keep my imagination focused on where I would rather be and what I would rather be doing – of course I couldn’t dwell on it for any length of time, but rather feel it in short, sharp flashes. When something started to get me down at work, I would acknowledge what it was in my head as though it was a flashback, a memory – ” I remember when I was dealing with ‘x’ “. I am not yet where I want to be, but boy, the circumstances at work have changed tremendously. I sometimes feel teflon-coated, compared to this time last year. This approach has gotten me out of the vortex, leaving me more energy to develop in my imagination my ideal circumstances. I don’t know if this makes any sense, but my thoughts are with your success.

  13. Mr Twenty Twenty says:

    Good one Nat.

I remember when is POWERFUL. One of our favorites, because we can remember “the tough stuff” with a sense of humor, distance, transformation – ALL FROM our ideal.

Awesome response Twenty. No disrespect for religious people following the old mantra, but I always ask… “How’s that working out for you?”

  15. Wrong Marinos! The Holy Spirit is within us…as a matter of fact, nothing is outside us…it’s just our subjective objectified…The Kingdom is within us, that’s Bible teaching my friend Marinos…

    Hi TT,

In addition to(-or-in alternative); how about also doing “REVISION” when something unpleasant like the example LL gave…?

I started doing revisions when something negative happens, right there and then and am loving it… It gives me immediate relief and in quite a few cases also immediate positive change/feedback from the people I’d had the negative experience with…

Appreciate your feedback on who to alternate or combine “I Remember When” & “Revision”.

    Many thanks…

That’s what is so great about this stuff.

When you get the tools from Neville Goddard’s Toolbox down, you get how many opportunities and options you have to have the life you have wished for.

    TT and V

PS: The big key is to remember it’s not really combining them, but discovering how to use them in your life – creatively. Have fun!

  19. Angel Light says:

    Hi TT & V,

    Thanks for your reply.

Do you actually have a product called “Neville Goddard Toolbox” ? OR were you making a general reference as a toolbox due to the various tools/processes Neville offers?

I agree about not necessarily combining them but knowing which ones to use when… 🙂

Any further guidance on how to get expertise on that? 🙂
