Dear Twenty and Victoria,
I very much enjoy and appreciate your ‘feel it real fun’ videos. As a sufferer of clinical depression, sometimes the only feeling that feels real is pain.
How do you feel it real when you’ve been in pain for so long that you can’t remember what anything else feels like? When I try to conjur happiness or excitement or relief, all I feel is numb.
Thank you,
Lara
Today’s Takeaway: Notice The Three Shifts.
1. “You know what it’s like, when YOU are mad.”
2. “You made me mad.”
3. “I am upset.” (Change is easy, once you get to this level. Change is hard, when stuck in the other two.)
