Free Neville Goddard – Can you change your personal history? (Here’s how.)

Hey mate,

What if you ended the power your personal history had over you?

What if you could rewrite your personal history now, so that you had nothing but the best for your future?

Today Neville is going to share with us just how to do that.

“A man’s mental conversation attracts his life. As long as there is no change in his inner talking, the personal history of the man remains the same. To attempt to change the world before we change our inner talking is to struggle against the very nature of things. Man can go round and round in the same circle of disappointments and misfortunes, not seeing them as caused by his own negative inner talking but as caused by others. This may seem far-fetched, but it is a matter which lends itself to research and experiment. ” – Neville Goddard – Mental Diets

You can use this method to heal your mind. Back in 1989 when I was just 23 years old, I was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Like many combat veterans today, I suffered from nightmares and flashbacks. My mind was no longer my own. Several of the “thought experiments” that I developed to heal my mind had me changing the conversations I had inside my head, because that is one of the easiest parts of your imagination to monitor and to change. I can’t tell you how different my world is today, because I freed myself of the death grip of my history – just by changing the conversations inside my mind.

Your turn.

What kinds of conversations to you notice inside your mind? What if you shifted them just a tiny bit today? What if you started imagining much more interesting conversations – with much more interesting people? (Most people have conversations in their minds with the same 5 people, over and over and over again. That really is enough to drive you batty, compared to the wonderful possibilities you could create inside your mind.)

So start imagining past conversations having gone in a much better way – use the power of Revision. Start imagining FUTURE conversations with interesting people – they can even be people you haven’t met yet. And imagine what the ELDER you – would tell the current you – after you have wildly succeeded and have taken control of your imagination. Why not? It’s fun and it will transform your life.

Have an amazing day!

PS: Imagine yummy fun conversations with your spouse – even if you haven’t met them yet. And watch what happens!

    Hi Twenty,

I see people around me recreating the past with there imagination all the time. They experience cycles in mood or health based on external data that they’ve imagined to be true… time of the year, days of the month, time of the day, the weather, other peoples opinions, old family beliefs/sayings, etc.

I’m guilty of it myself at times. I’ve dropped something twice in a row (or whatever) and then exclaimed “Great! It’s going to be one of THOSE days!” In that moment, somehow I irrationally linked a current event to some past experience and as a result am fortune telling the rest of my day! 🙂

Most of the time I catch myself, and repeat some off the cuff positive comment to hopefully cancel out the bad one. It’s interesting to watch other people though, who live their lives replaying those old, incorrect belief systems. Any advice on helping others who may not be aware of their pattern(s) or are not interested in helping themselves?

    Thanks,
    Bill

  2. You cannot move on in your life under a freer realm until you forgive yourself or until you know you have nothing to forgive because you only made a mistake. Give yourself a break today, be kind to your mind and allow your mind to be kind to you. Peace is yours at anytime you choose.
