Got another manifesting magical story for you. For the longest time the one thing I’ve had the greatest difficulty imagining is having a new car. The old clunker I was driving was always a great source of stress and fear for me. All I could think about every time I’d back out of the carport is “Is this the day I break down on the highway?”
I also had fears of stopping dead in traffic and everyone honking and swearing at me. I was wound up in knots every time I drove that thing. The feel it real sessions for a new car weren’t going as planned.
It was really hard for me to imagine myself in a new vehicle when I was so used to the image of my old jalopy.
So I changed tactics and just decided to focus on one very simple but very powerful image of holding the keys to my brand new car. I saw the buttons to open the doors and the trunk remotely, which wasn’t available in my 18 year old car keys.
I’d imagine pressing the button to flick the key up and feel the metal grooves pressing against my fingers. I imagined the feeling of pride and relief in finally driving a reliable car.
Then just two weeks ago my wife’s uncle, who happens to be a manager at a car dealership, just happened to overhear one of his colleagues talking about a new car that came on their lot with a very special deal that would last for that day only. He gave us a call and we rushed over just before the end of the day before the deal ended.
Needless to say I am now driving a 2016 model of a fancy red car. It looks and feels even better than I had imagined. The feeling I got when I held the keys in my hand and saw all the buttons and felt the metal grooves was mind blowing.
“It was exactly what I felt in the feel it real sessions!”
It was the most magical déjà vu of my entire life. I had this silly grin on my face for a whole week as I felt the keys in my hand…because it was always real for me.
It only needed a little more time to be real for everyone else.
