Good morning my friends, it’s Gail again with another amazing success story based on Neville’s teaching and your expert counseling. One of the most difficult aspects of Neville’s teaching – for me – was the idea that I could be part of creating success for someone else. I was always concerned that I might be ‘interfering’ with the intentions of another person’s creation and so remained cautious until I learned about Vincent’s plight.
Vincent is the two year old son of a co-worker. In October, she gave birth to a gorgeous little girl and she and her husband are doing their best to balance Vincent, the toddler and Sophia, the newborn, with a very busy work schedule. A few weeks ago, Vincent contracted a virus that was so severe he spent several days in and out of Children’s Hospital. The doctors were mystified and did what they could with medication but he showed no improvement. They were desperate for help.
When I spoke to my friend about the details I immediately went the place I usually did…right into the collective agreement that they had a lot to be worried about. But I snapped out of it quickly and told her I would visualize his complete recovery. As soon as I hung up, I began to visualize Vincent sitting on the edge of a gurney playing with a toy of some sort, completely recovered and happy, and the doctor telling my friend he had no idea why but the danger had passed.

A week later, I was sitting next to my co-worker at a meeting. We hadn’t spoken since that day so the first thing I asked about was Vincent. She gave a glowing report and then I shared the details of my visualization. She was stunned as she reached for her cell phone and pulled up a photo of Vincent – on a gurney with his doctor on the sideline – playing with a computer game. She had taken that photo because she was overcome with joy at the news.
Now I know, first hand, that it is entirely possible to affect the lives of those who need – and are asking for – help but are unaware of Neville’s powerful teaching, one that you continue perpetuate with wisdom and compassion. Thanks once again for all that you do! – Gail

Good question Greg – and the answer is yes! This same co-worker was having difficulty selling one of our condos. When I asked why, she said she hated it – design, location, etc. I told her to start loving it (create a list of positive aspects and focus on them instead) or she couldn’t possibly attract a buyer. She listened and two weeks later had a contract 🙂
