The Three Fundamental Principles – Part 2 – Definition of Aim – Neville Goddard

Posted on July 28, 2016July 28, 2016 by Mr Twenty Twenty

Hey mate,

Wednesday, we did The Three fundamental Principles Part 1.   Today, let’s dive in where we left with the Fundamental Principles Of Neville Goddard, and speed up how you Feel It Real.  The words of Neville Follow:

neville_goddard_feel_it_real“Having discovered, through an uncritical observation of your reactions to life, a self that must be changed, you must now formulate an aim.

That is, you must define the one you would like to be instead of the one you truly are in secret. With this aim clearly defined, you must, throughout your conscious waking day, notice your every reaction in regard to this aim.”

“The reason for this is that everyone lives in a definite state of consciousness, which state of consciousness we have already described as the sum total of his reactions to life. Therefore, in defining an aim, you are defining a state of consciousness, which, like all states of consciousness, must have its reactions to life.

For example: if a rumor or an idle remark could cause an anxious reaction in one person and no reaction in another, this is positive proof that the two people are living in two different states of consciousness.”

“If you define your aim as a noble, generous, secure, kindly individual – knowing that all things are states of consciousness – you can easily tell whether you are faithful to your aim in life by watching your reactions to the daily events of life. If you are faithful to your ideal, your reactions will conform to your aim, for you will be identified with your aim and, therefore, will be thinking from your aim.

If your reactions are not in harmony with your ideal, it is a sure sign that you are separated from your ideal and are only thinking of it. Assume that you are the loving one you want to be, and notice your reactions throughout the day in regard to that assumption; for your reactions will tell you the state from which you are operating.” – Neville Goddard

TODAY’S TAKEAWAY:  Notice how Neville says that YOU must define an AIM, and that aim is the ONE YOU CHOOSE TO BE.   Don’t let someone else “define your aim”, and don’t make it all about “something out there.   Make it about YOU, the you that you choose to be.

learn_how_to_feel_it_realPOWER POINT:  If you choose to be the one who lives from a loving, wealthy, healthy and generous state – then love, wealth and health will create themselves in your reactions to life – and in your circumstances.   If you want a new job, you see yourself as the one who does that great job – and who is recognized and congratulated for it.

“Sometime ago, I decided to get much stronger and healthier.  As I saw myself healthier and stronger – I found myself reacting to the world as that person.  I started doing what healthy, strong people do – naturally, because I was living from the state.   Out of the blue, I noticed I had started talking about what they talk about, moving with much more energy, thinking like someone who was healthy and strong.   It all began with effectively Feeling It Real, where true metaphysics grounds itself in the physical world.  My friends and family asked me my secret, and I tell them I feel it real.”

yes, that is what it is all about, agreed! the world has us so confused…if we love ourselves first, we are bad/selfish (as bad) or not loving… when in fact, loving ourselves Fully and Completely is the Only way we can ever truly, freely love someone else, love our lives, disperse the chatter habit in our mind… if this then that.
    PERFECT
    Thanks, as always TT
